- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and relationships within datasets.
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and predictive models to solve business problems and generate actionable insights.
- Develop solutions with generative AI capabilities for the relevant use cases.
- Cleanse, preprocess, and transform raw data to ensure quality, consistency, and suitability for analysis. Handle missing data, outliers, and anomalies using appropriate techniques to maintain data integrity and reliability.
- Create Indirect Procurement Spend cube from different system/subsystem.
- Communicate findings through visualizations, reports, and presentations to facilitate decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements and prioritize projects based on strategic objectives.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance over time.
- Implement model monitoring and validation processes to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability.
- Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
- Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling.
- Hands on experience in working with LLMs.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (ex: Java/Python, SAS).
- Strong knowledge of BI tools and technologies, such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.
- Programming Skills – knowledge of statistical programming languages like R, Python, and database query languages like SQL, Hive, Pig is desirable. Familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several concurrent projects.
- Execute analytical experiments to help solve problems across various domains like Retail, Wholesales, Marketing & Finance.
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools like matplotlib, ggplot, d3.js., Tableau that help to visually encode data.
- Experience in GCP cloud services like BigQuery, Vertex ai, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data scientist or in a similar role.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
